Delete your Nolira account
Last updated 1 October 2026
This page is for people who sign in to Nolira: salon owners and their staff, on Nolira Desk, Nolira Team for iPhone and Android, or the web. It explains how to ask for your account to be deleted and what happens when you do.
Draft pending legal review. This document is a working draft written to describe how Nolira intends to operate. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer in Malaysia and should not be relied on as a binding agreement until it has.
1. How to ask
Send an email to hello@nolira.my from the address you sign in with. Write "Delete my account" as the subject and include your salon code, the name in your salon's booking link. Writing from your own address is how we know the request comes from you.
In the Nolira Team app, Delete my account opens this page. On iPhone it is on the Outlets tab; on Android it is on the More tab.
If you work for a salon, you can also ask the salon's owner to suspend your account, which signs you out everywhere at once.
2. What happens next
We reply to confirm we have it. We then end every session your account has, so it is signed out of every phone and computer, and remove or anonymise your name, email address and phone number.
3. What is kept, and why
Bills, receipts, refunds, cash drawer records and payslips that name you are financial records. Malaysian law requires them to be kept for the statutory period, so they stay, with your name replaced where the law allows. The audit trail that records who did what in a salon is kept for the same reason. We tell you which records are kept rather than deleting silently.
4. If you are a salon's customer
Your details are held by the salon you visited, and the salon decides what to keep. Ask the salon first. If you cannot reach them, write to hello@nolira.my and we will pass your request on and help them act on it.
5. Deleting a whole salon
A salon owner who wants the whole organisation closed should write from the owner's address. Everything not required for financial or tax records is deleted, and those records are kept only for the statutory period.
